The rig comes to you.

Mobile welding and on-site repair across Elko County. When the broken thing is too big, too heavy, or too bolted-down to haul into a shop, we bring the shop to it.

What mobile welding actually means

Some jobs cannot come to the shop. A loader with a cracked bucket does not fit on a trailer. A gate is set in concrete. A handrail is bolted to a building. A piece of equipment is broken down in a field forty minutes out, and moving it costs more than fixing it.

That is what the mobile rig is for. We load the welder, the generator, the grinder, and the steel into the truck and drive to the job. Most repairs get finished on site the same visit — no hauling, no downtime waiting on a shop queue.

We weld steel, stainless, and aluminum, and we are certified and insured — which matters if the work is on a job site, a lease, or anything an inspector or an insurer is going to look at later.

Common calls

What we fix on site

Heavy equipment

Cracked buckets, blades, brackets, and frames on machines that cannot be trailered in without a lowboy and a bad afternoon.

Trailers & hitches

Cracked tongues, broken hitches, bent frames, ramps, and gates. Common, fixable, and usually same-visit.

Gates & corrals

Set in concrete or strung across a fence line — panels, latches, hinges, and cattle guards that are not going anywhere.

Structural repairs

Handrails, stairs, posts, and supports already bolted or welded into a building or structure.

Ranch & ag

Implements, feeders, chutes, and the assorted broken steel that turns up on a working place.

Odd metal problems

If it is metal and it is broken and it cannot move, describe it and we will tell you straight whether we can fix it.

How it works

Send a photo

Call 775-934-4590 or use the chat on this site. A picture of the break, a rough idea of how thick the metal is, and where it is sitting — that is usually all we need.

Get a real number and a real date

Not a range, not a "we will see when we get there." You get a straight price and a day we can be there.

We come out and fix it

The rig arrives with the right setup for your metal. Most jobs get finished on the spot. If it turns out to need the shop, we tell you before we start, not after.

That is the regular run. If you are outside it — further out in Elko County, or over toward the state line — call anyway. If it is worth the drive for both of us, we will come.

Mobile welding questions

How far will you travel?

We regularly work Elko, Spring Creek, Carlin, Wells, and Battle Mountain. If you are outside that, call anyway and we will talk about it.

Can you weld on site, or does it have to come to the shop?

Both. If it can be hauled in, the shop is usually cheaper. If it cannot move — heavy equipment, gates, structural work — the mobile rig comes to you.

Do you weld aluminum and stainless on site?

Yes. Steel, stainless, and aluminum. Aluminum and stainless take more setup, so tell us what the metal is when you call and we will bring the right setup the first time.

How do I get a price?

Call 775-934-4590 or send a photo of what is broken with a rough idea of how thick the metal is and where it is located. That is usually enough for a real number and a real date.

Are you insured for work on a job site?

Yes — certified and insured. If you need documentation before we come out, ask when you call and we will get it to you.
