Asked at the counter

Straight answers

Do you do mobile welding?

Yes. The rig comes to you — Elko, Spring Creek, Carlin, Wells, and Battle Mountain. Outside that, call and we'll talk about it.

How do I get a quote?

Call 775-934-4590 or send a photo of what's broken with a rough idea of how thick it is. That's usually enough for a real number and a real date.

What do you work on?

Welding, fabrication, and machining — repairs, trailers, gates, railings, equipment, and custom work. If it's metal, ask.

Do you weld aluminum and stainless?

Yes — steel, stainless, and aluminum. Aluminum and stainless take more setup than mild steel, so send a photo and tell us roughly how thick it is and we'll get you a straight number.

Can you make a part that doesn't exist anymore?

Usually. We machine custom parts from scratch, and we can 3D print custom metal parts when something is obsolete, discontinued, or was never sold separately. Bring the broken one or a drawing and we'll work from that.

Are you certified and insured?

Yes and yes. Ben carries the certifications. Hambone has never been asked for his.

When are you open?

Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. Saturdays by call. Lunch is at eleven and is not negotiable.

Can I meet Hambone?

He's usually supervising from the good chair. If he's asleep, that's a scheduled inspection of the inside of his eyelids. Porkchop will clear you at the door.
