Hambone has held the top position for three years — twenty-one in dog years, and he counts every one. In that time he has attended every job, ridden in every truck, and picked up exactly zero tools. He wears aviators indoors. He has opinions about lunch and he shares them at eleven sharp.
He does not weld. He supervises. There is a difference, and he would like you to respect it.
002 · Security
Porkchop is four years old — twenty-eight in dog years — and twice as suspicious as that sounds. He inspects every weld before it leaves the shop and clears every visitor before they get past the door. The mug on his desk reads "Quality Control Is Not Optional." He did not choose the wording lightly.
He reports directly to Hambone and outranks Ben, an arrangement Ben has learned to live with.

003 · Labor
Ben started Bark & Burn out of a shop in Elko and does the welding, the fabrication, the machining, the quoting, the invoicing, and the driving. He is certified and insured. He answers the phone himself.
He reports to Hambone and Porkchop, in that order — the bottom of the pecking order. Reviews are annual. Ben has not received one.

004 · Home
Elko sits at 5,000 feet with the Ruby Mountains on one side and a lot of sagebrush on the other. Mornings are cold most of the year, afternoons aren't, and the wind doesn't care either way. It's good country for a shop and better country for a dog.
We work Elko, Spring Creek, Carlin, Wells, and Battle Mountain. If you're outside that, call anyway and we'll talk about it.
